How do I survive Yoga Teacher Training with a 10 months old?

I swear I don't survive jack. I am pretty sure I am long dead and I am just dragging my dead brain wherever.

I tried many plans.

1. Practice when he sleeps.

Well half an hour a day is not enough. And also savasana with a screaming baby is not really integrating the asana's effects, but more of a... hmm...can't find a name for it.

2.  Never put the book down.

Yes. Carry a book with you everyday everywhere! Put in your handbag some diapers, some clothes, some toys, some food and water for him, some food and water for you, wallet, keys, tissues... Oh yeah and the book. You never know at what stop light you can get to read a page. Guess what?! Reading a page a week doesn't help you understand a book.

3. Do everything at night after he falls asleep.

Well that worked wonders...on my sleep. Never slept better than on my mat. So lets recap: I fell asleep on my mat almost every time (and not in Savasana). I fell asleep reading the books. I fell asleep while meditating and even chanting a mantra.

4. Practice while I sleep

That was the only thing that absolutely worked. Dreaming of full classes and waking up directly in Savasana, all tired and sweaty.

5. Practice with the baby next to me

Those were some fun times. A Downward dog is nothing if you don't have a baby pulling out your hair. What would be a Bridge pose if your baby doesn't try to climb on you?! It's yoga with a challenge.

So... still searching for a way to survive. Or just revive myself from this adventure.
