First of all, I am the mama of a 10 months old boy. So my day pretty much revolves around him. His nickname is BJ. That stands for bundle if joy.
My boy is a very happy kid... as long as you play with him every single second he is awake. God forbid you have something to do in a day besides playing!
If you do have things to do...maybe as simple as washing a bottle or go to the bathroom or even drink a glass of water... he will cry!
When he has a crying day man he can cry!
He cries for the following reasons:
- if you try to feed him
- if you don't feed him
- if you change him
- if you don't change him
- if you put him to bed
- if you don't put him to bed
- if you play with him
- if you don't play with him
- if you stay in the same room
- if you leave the room
- if you stay in the house
- if you go in the park
- if you wash him
- if you don't wash him
And the list continues for about 9-10 hours.
Why I don't come to evenings yoga classes? Honestly, because after 10 hours of that I just want to crash in silence! No music, no teaching cues, no one to tell me what to do.
Just silence...
And also guess what?! He ain't putting himself to bed at night.
You thought this will be a post about yoga?! It is... Listening to the nothingness of evenings is union with the universe. A universe beyond daily struggles. Beyond petty frustration. And you meditate long and hard on the most important question in life: "Who the f@&$ am I?"
